What this platform is

The Authorization Record is a community for compliance professionals in regulated life sciences. It provides articles, discussion forums, a member directory, a job board, and inspection defense resources.

The content on this platform — articles, observations, checklists, and frameworks — is for informational and professional development purposes only. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance counsel. All compliance decisions remain the sole responsibility of your organization and its authorized personnel.

Your account

You sign in using your LinkedIn account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your LinkedIn credentials. You may not create accounts on behalf of others or share your account access.

You must be a professional in or adjacent to regulated life sciences to use this platform. By joining, you represent that your participation is for legitimate professional purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in harassment, misrepresent professional identity, or otherwise damage the community.

Your conduct

This community is built on professional identity and peer accountability. You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your professional credentials
• Use the platform to solicit, spam, or mass-contact other members
• Post content that is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
• Share confidential information belonging to your employer or clients
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect member data
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable law

Discussion content should be grounded in personal professional experience. Promotional content disguised as peer participation is not permitted.

Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post in discussions. By posting, you grant The Authorization Record a non-exclusive license to display that content to other members of the platform. You may request removal of your content by contacting us.

Do not post confidential information, proprietary data, patient information, or any information that your employer or a regulatory body would consider restricted. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

The member directory

The member directory is opt-in. If you choose to make your profile visible, you acknowledge that other members — and approved vendors, if you have opted into Professional visibility — will be able to see your name, title, and company.

We cannot control what other members or vendors do with information they view in the directory. By opting in, you accept this limitation. If you do not accept this limitation, do not opt in.

Vendor access

Vendors who have been approved and provisioned access agree to additional vendor-specific terms provided at the time of onboarding. Vendors may not contact members outside of the platform's defined interaction model, misrepresent their identity or products, or use member information for any purpose other than legitimate professional outreach.

Vendor access may be revoked at any time for violation of these terms or vendor-specific terms, without refund.

Intellectual property

All articles, checklists, frameworks, observation library content, and other editorial content on this platform is the property of ComplianceWorxs. You may reference, share links to, and quote brief excerpts from this content for professional purposes. You may not reproduce substantial portions, republish, or commercialize this content without written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

This platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be available at all times, that content will be accurate or complete, or that your use of the platform will produce any particular outcome.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the platform and request account deletion.
